Why Nyteca®: specialised, not general; connected, not scattered
Nyteca® Chat works like a general AI chat, but specialised in tax law and with a citation for every statement. The Nyteca® App follows in mid-November 2026 – it does not replace Word, Explorer or email, it replaces the gaps between them.
Now live in SwitzerlandWhat Nyteca® does differently
No marketing slogans, but decisions built into Nyteca® Chat and into the Nyteca® App, which follows in mid-November 2026.
Servers in Switzerland, FADP-compliant
Nyteca® ChatNyteca® Chat is hosted on servers in Switzerland. We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP); the data in your questions and uploaded documents is covered by a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 9 FADP. Tax AI AG is based in Baar; the contract is governed by Swiss law and the place of jurisdiction is Zug.
Specialised, with citations
Nyteca® Chat is specialised in tax law and gives every statement its citation, version and as-of date. Tax questions, documents, opinions and objections – at two levels, Associate and Advisor.
The AI suggests, a person decides
Nyteca® Chat delivers answers and drafts, not legal or tax advice: the professional reviews and signs. The Nyteca® App adds suggestions in the inbox, draft replies and the case chat – every confirmation is in the audit log.
One platform instead of isolated tools
In the Nyteca® App, client onboarding, KYC, quotes, cases, documents, deadlines and email share one data model. What has been entered once is no longer retyped, copied or dragged into another folder.
The firm configures it itself
In the Nyteca® App: your own fields, review criteria, risk rule set, service catalogue, rates, letterhead, locations and roles – versioned per firm and without programming. No ticket with the vendor for a new column.
Your Word templates stay
In the Nyteca® App, existing templates are uploaded, given placeholders, versioned and approved. Output is as Word or as PDF/A. Your files stay your files.
Classic toolbox vs. the Nyteca® App
Eleven workflows from day-to-day practice – how they run today in many firms, and how they will run in the Nyteca® App from mid-November 2026.
Client onboarding
Classic toolbox: Form by email or on paper, data retyped into the system.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): One link: enquiry, KYC, data protection, power of attorney. The data lands straight in the client file.
KYC and risk
Classic toolbox: Checklist in Excel or on paper, screening in a separate service.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): Screening, risk rule set and approval levels in the platform – with a history per client.
Quotes
Classic toolbox: Word document, PDF, mail attachment, signature scanned back.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): Generated from the service catalogue and rates, approved internally, signed online, order confirmation in the client file.
Templates
Classic toolbox: Templates on the file server, versions in the file name.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): Word templates versioned and approved, output as Word or PDF/A.
Filing
Classic toolbox: Scans and emails sorted by hand into client folders.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): The inbox suggests client, category and year; one click confirms and files.
Deadlines
Classic toolbox: Deadline list in Excel or in individual people’s calendars.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): Deadline register across all clients with a reminder chain, recurring cases for repeating work.
Classic toolbox: Mail program separate from the client file, assignment by hand.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): IMAP and SMTP in the platform, assignment to the case via the case reference.
AI
Classic toolbox: General-purpose AI chat: not specialised in tax law, statements often without a verifiable citation.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): The same AI as Nyteca® Chat – specialised in tax law, a citation for every statement – plus case and mandate context, your own instructions per firm and confirmation by a person.
Traceability
Classic toolbox: Who changed what and when has to be reconstructed from emails and file metadata.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): Audit log over every action, with time and person.
Configuration
Classic toolbox: Adjustments through the vendor – or not at all.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): Fields, criteria, catalogue, letterhead and roles by the firm itself, versioned.
Data location
Classic toolbox: Spread across several providers, contracts and countries.
Nyteca® App (from mid-November 2026): Swiss company, hosting in Switzerland, dedicated environment for Enterprise.

What you will not hear from us
Three promises we deliberately do not make – because a firm is liable for its own work.
Security & complianceNo accuracy promises
We do not quote percentages for AI answers, AI suggestions or time saved. What counts is the review by the professional – and that stays.
No automatic decisions
Nyteca® Chat drafts, the professional reviews and signs. In the Nyteca® App no document is filed without confirmation, no email sent without approval, no client approved without review.
No lock-in on your content
In the Nyteca® App, templates are Word files and documents are PDF/A, and clients can be exported as CSV. You keep sovereignty over your data.
Ask Nyteca® Chat your tax question
Nyteca® Chat is live in Switzerland. Germany, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg will follow, and the Nyteca® App arrives in mid-November 2026.
